Groundwork to Grid: Building Solar in Jussara, Brazil

In just 30 days, two brand-new solar farms were completed in Jussara, Bahia — built by a 10-person local team using high-efficiency Osda panels (610W) and Nansen inverters, totaling 109.8 kWp in capacity.

While we’re still finalizing the legal foundation to launch our Brazilian energy association — a critical step to ensure our community can earn up to 18% APY in a fully compliant and sustainable way, we want to reassure you: We haven't stopped building.

In fact, the real work is happening right now, under the Brazilian sun.

Over the past two months, two brand-new solar farms have been constructed in Jussara, in the Xique-Xique region of Bahia. These sites represent more than infrastructure — they are the living proof that your belief in SolarShare is transforming into clean, productive energy.

Thanks to Leonardo Deus, our boots-on-the-ground project lead, we've been receiving regular photos, videos, and insights. And today, we’re excited to share a deeper look at what’s been built — and what comes next.

Built in 30 Days: Rocks and All

Construction began on May 20 and reached structural completion by June 20. That’s just 30 days to transform two empty plots into fully functional solar farms — a testament to the experience and dedication of our 10-person local crew. Of course, the land had its own surprises. Leo shared a moment from the first few days:

“When we first analyzed the land, it looked like a perfect spot. But as soon as we started drilling, we hit a ton of rock. You wouldn’t have guessed how much was beneath the surface.”

Despite the rocky start, the crew worked with impressive speed and precision — leveling the land, installing foundations, mounting the panels, and building the secure unit to house the inverters.

The result? Two robust, high-efficiency farms ready to deliver real energy and real rewards.

Technical Breakdown

Each farm is equipped with:

  • 180 bifacial solar panels from Osda, rated at 610 watts
  • Nansen-brand inverters, installed in a purpose-built control house
  • A combined installed capacity of 109.8 kWp
  • Managed by a 10-person local team from start to finish

These are not budget components — they’re high-performance parts chosen for durability, efficiency, and longevity, optimized for Brazil’s consistent solar irradiance.

Jussara itself is a strategic location. With strong sun year-round and a growing demand for clean energy infrastructure, it’s exactly the kind of environment where decentralized solar thrives.

What’s Next?

Structurally, the farms are complete. Now we’re in the final stage: connecting to the local energy grid.

The utility company has already conducted its network study. According to Leo, the connection process is expected to take up to 120 days, which would bring us to mid-October 2025 for full activation.

This final step is being overseen by our certified project engineer and handled in close collaboration with the utility provider. Once the connection is live, energy generation begins — and with it, the return cycle for investors.

Why We’re Sharing This

At SolarShare, transparency isn’t a buzzword — it’s a foundational part of how we operate. We know many of you are eager for the NFT launch, and while legal and regulatory processes move slower than we’d like, our mission hasn’t paused for a second.

These updates aren’t (just) marketing. They’re milestones. They’re evidence. They’re the real-world results of a vision that’s being built in full view of our community.

By sharing these moments — even the rocky ones — we invite you behind the scenes to witness the progress that will soon power long-term, stable, and sustainable returns for all of us.

What’s Coming

We’ll continue to bring you updates like this one as more progress unfolds — from new construction sites to grid activations and beyond. We’re also preparing behind-the-scenes video content, ongoing FAQ sessions, and detailed articles about our roadmap and tokenomics.

If you’re part of our Discord community, feel free to drop your questions about the farms, the launch, or anything in between — and we’ll work them into our upcoming posts and video series.

And if you’re already part of SolarShare as an early supporter or investor: Thank you. These farms exist because of your belief in this project!
